The Rev. Peter Klenner consecrated Bishop

28/09/2019

The final weekend of September 2018 saw a rare event unfold on the White Rock/South Surrey peninsula: the consecration of an Anglican bishop: Peter Klenner, pastor of All Saints Community Church. Peter was ordained an Emissary Bishop for the Anglican Mission in Canada ("The Mission") by the presiding Anglican Archbishop of the Congo and Bishop of Kindu, the Rt. Rev'd.Zacharie Masimango Katanda. Peter will serve alongside the first Emissary Bishop and Apostolic Vicar for The Mission, the Rt. Rev'd.Silas Ng, who is headquartered in Richmond. While the consecration ceremony took place at White Rock Baptist Church with representatives from many local churches and many nations around the globe, the photo of a post-consecration Rt. Rev'd.Klenner, dressed in his new Bishop's regalia was taken at the ordination to the Priesthood of the Rev. Mark Tubbs later that same weekend at All Saints Church. Both occasions were living examples of The Mission's three streams: Scripture, Sacrament, and Spirit.
